The Omega Metroid is the pinnacle of the Metroid evoltionary ladder, as it has completely armored itself and is nigh invincible, even to ice. The Omega shares many features with the Queen, but this form is a biped and can move much faster than its counterparts. Even Samus Aran had a difficult time facing this monster.
The Gamma Metroid is even tougher than the alpha, and has developed several tusks as well as armor for defense. Like its cousins however, the Gamma still retains its family's weakness to ice.
The Alpha Metroid is the result of the usual Metroid recieving large quantities of Gamma radiation. This specimen is only vulnerable at its belly. Conventional weaponry can damage it, but the use of ice is far greater and more powerful.(I have an updated version of this creature as I forgot to add its tusks before making the video--it's here:http://www.spor e.com/sporepedia#qry =sast-500218172951 )
The Zeta Metroid is built similar to a Panzer. Its body is heavily armored (the stomach is well-covered as well)and the weakness to ice, though still a viable way to damage it, has become less effective due to the creature's large health. The Zeta is a very formidable beast, but it still isn't the strongest Metroid on SR388...

Hmmm, well I uploaded this last night, and something glitched and it played like I had the screens on Powerpoint!!!..So I piddled around with the comp and I think I fixed it!..I hope..If I did, then you'll be reading this!..if not, then you won't!..haha.
Oh, and in this one, Samus sarts her mission on SR388, and destroys her first Metroid!..An Alpha Metroid at that!
